Surat Development Plan 2041 - Liberal Approach

As a part of Development Studio and in order to gain knowledge on various approaches of planning, Zoning and regulations, we the group of four members prepared the development plan for the city of Surat. This portfolio is the compilation of my individual part of work such as on case study of relevant planning models and approaches taken by other cities, as well as group work. It was an excellent opportunity to learn about city and proposing some innovative techniques for developing a city development plan. The tool that stimulates and supports development is the development plan process. It must also be able to resist future uncertainties”. After various studies, analysis,  the master plan for the city of Surat is proposed as more liberal approach, which is purely market driven.
