Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar: Integrated Strategic Planning

Cities are the main catalyst for modern economic development and social activities. While cities are growing rapidly, they also face a series of challenges, such as economic stagnation and urban vulnerability due to the absence of a consolidated planning approach with the neighboring cities. Under these circumstances, "Integrated Strategy Planning" between twin cities growing towards each other offers a potential solution for policymakers to improve city governance and achieve maximum efficiency creating a conducive urban ecosystem for the economy and people. In this studio, we have drafted an Integrated development plan for the twin cities 'Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar' based on market-driven growth.
