Envisioning Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar Development Plan 2041

Ahmedabad - Gandhinagar Development Plan 2041 aims at a sustainable, equitable and a livable city focusing on a diverse economy and a planned expansion based on existing and estimated future demands. This integrated plan provides a glimpse on the attempt of making a coordinated plan for Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar that are growing towards each other and are envisioned to form Prime Twin Cities. Further through proposals we have incorporated our ideas for major road networks, infrastructure, and vital amenities. We have also assured the protection of environmentally sensitive sites and features into our strategy. To create a desirable development and urban character for different portions of the city, a liberal zoning controlled through certain regulations are proposed.
