Himatnagar is a Class II town and district headquarter of Sabar Kantha district in Gujarat, India. The studio focussed on the understanding of NULM at the city level. The NULM mission components were studied at the Nagarpalika level through surveys and interviews, and areas of improvement were identified. Assessment of existing scenarios on the mission components are done compared to best practices and mission guidelines; solutions for the same are provided in the long term plan of poverty alleviation.
