In-Situ Slum Upgradation along with tenure security

The studio aims at developing housing strategies to expand the choices of affordable housing for all income groups in the city of Rajkot. In this provisionary strategy, we are targeting 27 tenable unviable slums that were not on high potential land and thus can go for an upgrade. The aim was to formalize the informal settlements with the provision of basic infrastructure services for all along with land titles to the households living in sub-standard conditions.
