HVAC Lab

The HVAC LAB focused on understanding the impact of environmental parameter on HVAC consumption in buildings. Through, the concepts of HVAC fundamentals, components, distribution system, load calculation & refrigeration cycle. The lab even covered use of sensors & instruments through various experimentations and measurements for Air quality, ERV installation, Air infiltration through building envelope, AC airflow rates. Along with HVAC system optimization done using Design Builder & Energy Plus, for better system performance, thermal comfort & energy efficiency in the Indian context.
