The design features an intermodal transit hub that aims to combine both the existing bus station and railway station in Himmatnagar, Gujarat. The presence of a central marketplace in design aims to rehabilitate the existing street vendors inundating the adjacent streets and also acts as a transitional space between the bus station functions and railway station functions. The design features myriads of open spaces for seating and ventilation at regular intervals, adapting to the site context and climate. The movements of pedestrians, buses, and paratransit have been reimagined thoroughly for convenient circulation.
