Redefining Connections at Manek Chowk Plaza

The site-Manek Chowk  is located in the walled city of Ahmedabad which has been entitled as a UNESCO world heritage site. The  Residents of the pol houses are backbone in making cultural heritage of the city, though nowadays high number of residents are moving out from the pols due to over-commercialization and insufficient community facilities . The project envision to mitigate process of reverse gentrification through provision of socio-cultural development opportunities so the heritage of the city continues living.
