Growing Hype of Ahmedabad as an heritage city under UNESCO has implied into heritage led regeneration. Several developments under UNESCO majorly targeted on developing heritage value of place while the users and effect on the life of users have seemed to be taken a back seat.The intent of the program is to reclaim the encroached public space back into the public realm and redefine the experience of the ‘everyday’ by reorganizing and opening up built mass on the street, thus redirecting traffic movement, and de-clutter the informal market.
