Interlacing social transects

The spaces in between the buildings emerge as the most active zones and reformulating their character yields a highy interactive environment. The intermediate edge between the city and campus are places where the citizens have an opportunity to connect through various activities like cultural programme, informal interactions, awareness drives etc. The design aims to acheive a campus which adopts to the microclimate through effective planting strategies and also creates a common platform for all students to enhance their learning through inter-departmental collaborations. The vision is to amalgamate the city and campus in a unified and seamless manner and also create productive places within the campus.
