Planning and Design of Road Alignment at Thol

The studio is about planning and designing of a roadway alignment on any site given. It covers almost all the aspects from highway engineering and required laboratory testings. While planning, problems like geography of the site, drainage, weather conditions, sustainability and cost effectiveness were solved. Main problem of the road being accessibility to all type of users, from pedestrians to four wheelers and heavy vehicles was also taken into consideration.
