Planning and design of road on Idar hill

This studio focuses on the challenge of planning and developing an appropriate road alignment in a variety of terrains with natural and built-environment influences. It involved study of maps and various IRC codes. Number of surveys were conducted which involved measurement and  processing of field data. For both horizontal and vertical curves, the geometric design was carried out with a large number of attempts. Additionally, the route's pavement design was completed. Alignments of a particular site were also compared with the help of parametric analysis.
