The experience began at the Plumbing Design Studio with an examination of the plumbing services available in our own home, which provided basic information on pipe sizes, fittings, and fixture types, as well as their connections. Then next was plumbing design for the assigned project ‘Hostel at Gandhinagar’, which was designed to REDUCE freshwater consumption, RECYCLE of used water and REUSE the effluent treated water. Also, the project was created with the goal of having no liquid discharge. The architectural digital model was prepared to understand the spaces and arrangement of fixtures, and the plumbing model was made according to the designed system to understand the connections. 'Types of Water Supply Fittings & Challenges In Pleasure V/S Water Conservation' was an interesting plumbing-related topic that was explored. A 'Hydroponics' was created in the working model exercise. The main goal of this hydroponics system is to reuse of grey water. Click here for PORTFOLIO & REPORT.
