A Community Cooking and Eating Space in Mandu

The project aims at providing a space where the local community may gather to eat, cook as well as enjoy themselves. The structure has been developed purely as a brick masonry building. This has influenced the project through the different spanning elements used like vaults and domes to cover long spanning spaces. the concept of force transfer has been understood to a large extent due to the design strategy using supported and supporting spaces
