Road Network | Strategic Transport Plan, Mahesana 2042

The portfolio represents the project covered as part of the second semester in the Masters of Urban Transport System. The aim of the studio was to deliver a strategic Transport Plan and to study various processes involved in making it. The study was done for Mahesana city, where transport planning documents of various cities in India were reviewed along with the various acts and policies contributing to transportation. Then based on the existing situation analysis, a long-term vision for the city was developed based on the data collected from various sources. Further, the concepts were developed and detailed proposals were made on the understanding along with the implementation and costing of the same. This particular portfolio will be focusing on the road network proposal for the city.
