Safe Streets through Freight Movement

The project aims to look at safe and accessible streets for pedestrians through interventions at junctions and freight movement within the city. Necessary proposals were set in place in order to tackle multiple issues faced. Junctions were redesigned while prioritizing pedestrians and addressing multiple vehicle conflicts, while in terms of freight revised restrictions and new routes were proposed for efficient movement of passenger and freight vehicles. Terminal feasibility was also done to establish the need for freight parking in the growing industrial city of Mehsana.
