Strategic Transport Plan for Mahesana city, 2042

The aim of the studio was to understand the elements and process of creating a Strategic Transportation Plan and develop a Strategic Transportation Plan for 20 years. It included detailed study of spatial growth, landuse, demography, road network, connectivity, economy, public transport etc. For primary date, various surveys were carried out which included household surveys, landuse survey, road inventory, junction analysisand PT and IPT and secondary data was collected from various institutional bodies of the city. based on this, the issues were identified and the proposals were given accordingly.
