Aasha ne Aakar - Women's Community Center

Aasha ne Aakar, is a women-led and operated community-based activity organization. It includes activities such as three types of selling and administrative and training space. Selling dried agricultural produce, spices, and powdered spices is the first category. The preparation and sale of bakery snacks and bread fall under the second vertical, while beverages and freshly prepared hot snacks/small meals go under the third. The training center and administrative offices are also housed in the building. The climate and site study determine the massing, organization, orientation, opening directions and types, water body, and landscaping. The goal was to protect the building from solar heat gain and design it in such a way that it uses less energy and reuses the waste.
