Nai raah: Towards success and sustainability

It is a community-based activity center, run by women for women. The center comprises of learning as well as working and earning spaces. The three main spaces are the selling space, the cafe, and the training space. While designing the building, the most important aspect kept into consideration was the hot and dry climate of Ahmedabad. The building envelope has been optimized in such a way that the energy used decreases substantially.  A series of drawings and simulations have also been done to support the decisions made. Click here for the extended portfolio.
