The design of the streets of India is friendly and inviting only to the dominant Cis-men. Access to infrastructure facilities and the safety of women and other identities is denied in the public realm. It is imperative to note that not having the right to safely and comfortably access the streets of a city denies one the right to the city itself. This is especially true for minorities LGBTQ+ community. Therefore based on various observations from mapping and research, the project explores a potential path to a gender-inclusive city.
