A House in Jada Bhagat ni Pol

In the old city area of Dariyapur is situated the very active and homely streets of Jada Bhagat ni Pol. The project aims at creating a home for a closely knit joint family of six members spread across three generations. Grandparents, parents and two teenage girls live in this three storey home. A large central courtyard and connected spaces of varying heights open up the house from inside as we move up. With direct connections to courtyard and stepped terraces that are inter-connected and also interacting with other interior spaces, the house aims at creating spaces that help encourage interaction within the house and with the people of the Pol that houses it.
