The studio was a great experience to explore and get connected to our traditions by exploring pols of Ahmedabad. Explained the advantages of getting vernacular again but also consider the modern requirements and lifestyle. Thus was a perfect amalgamation of vernacular and today’s requirements of people and how wonderful solutions and designs can be derived by taking good points of both. Thus the final design was to built a house for modern family in tight pol context fulfilling their requirements as well as connecting them with wonderful social context around.
