The imagined society tries to mediate between the two extreme realms of hyper-connectivity and self-sufficiency. Hence the proposed architectural solution is able to negotiate between these two realms. In-deterministic architecture is the tool utilized to acheive the above idea.
Architecturally, the term ‘determinate’ refers to spaces designed around a fixed use. ‘Indeterminate’ in contrast refers to buildings that are designed around indefinite or uncertain use. Indeterministic architecture not only negotiates between the two realms but also allows for possibilities and acknowledges changing patterns of living, thus attempting to contextualise buildings in a rapidly changing society.
