The society is a system of living which consist of a spatial categorization focusing on the nature of activity rather than typology of function. Activity in terms of its nature can be divided as an function of ‘play’ and function of ‘pause’. ‘Play’ is an activity which is been performed as a activity of daily importance, which is being performed as necessity, in the near future when the digital gadgets and advancement in technology would make the world concentrated all in hands on an individual, these activities would require break so as to balance the stress generated by the monotony. The society appreciated all the play activities with an associated pause activity which makes the experience of the user dynamic and gives them the opportunity to connect with the neighbors and the surroundings. This act of one being back and forth in play and pause is been seen as ‘Loiter’. ‘To loiter’ hence becomes an important part of the society as it makes the people go out and interact with the context and break the digitally centralized future of oneself. The proposal then focuses on a mix of spatial experiences without typical categorization as per hierarchy of functions.
