AAVAZ - The Matriarch Circle

The project is an onset for a communal space for women in a diverse tight-knit community. Place-making of public spaces in the locality was majorly acquired by men. The position of the equal population of women in the locality becomes a mirage in the public realm. The program is meticulously formulated for the diverse population of women of Jivraj Park from various economic and employment patterns. The spaces and activities are planned to align with the interests and day-to-day proceedings of the women of the locality. Aavaz is a space under the flyover claimed by women of Jivraj Park.
