The watch tower is located in Kadiya Dhro, Ulat, Gujarat. It is an outcome of many small exercises that led to the design process leading up to the form. The form is generated by observing, reiterating and generating results that show the motion of a volleyball player both in terms of visual & tactile medium (Form finding through Abstraction). The watch tower stands 25 meters tall above a cliff in a region with canyon-like formations. Having no vertical members, the design led to choices such that load could be transferred diagonally with the help of pre-fabricated I Beams and Tension rods.

2-Dimensional Abstraction: Extracting data from the source and reiterating them visually through lines and shapes
3-Dimensional Abstraction & Transformation: Portraying the abstracted motion diagrams in the 3rd dimension and exploring the various possibilities of space.
Site Visit: Understanding and Analyzing the construction site.
Tectonics: Exploring the structural possibilities of the models by digitizing them and placing them on site.
Form: Exploration of Form and Understanding the load transfer in the structure.
