Corset braided lamp is an aesthetic yet functional piece of furniture that enhances a space by interaction with light. Made completely using perforations, this lamp highlights the effect of light and shadow. It also helps one understand the materiality of the braids and their interrelation with light.

Introduction to fiber and spinning : Making yarn from cotton punny
Introduction to basic braids including 2 as 1, 3 as 1, square braids and braids without external support
Analysis of braids using a table comparing number of cords, length and patterns
Introduction to Ply split braiding: POT, SCOT, POT holes and Darning
