Organic Waste Management: Waste to Wealth

In Ujjain Municipal Corporation (UMC) 65% of total waste produced per day is bio degradable, of which approximately 22% of biodegradable waste is converted to Value, hence there is an existing gap. The pilot targets to reduce the gap through preparing strategies for organic waste management intervening into Bulk waste Generators of the city.  At present there is also ambiguity in waste management for BWGs in the city. The pilot includes both macro to micro level proposals.
