The project aims to redevelop an existing slum tenement building in Ujjain through a public-private partnership. The private developer will receive a share of the profits from the sale/lease of commercial space. Slum dwellers will be provided with new homes with better sanitation facilities and basic amenities. Self-help groups will be created, and land value capture mechanism used to generate revenue. The redeveloped building will incorporate sustainable technologies, and the project's progress will be monitored and evaluated. The land ownership, land use, and block perimeter will be improved through strategies such as consolidation, diversification, and connectivity.
