Kulaagar is an ancestral system of cultivation of horticulture crops which has proved to be very viable, resilient and reliable system in nature. It has been placed in the larger context of midland region of Goa for many years and comes to contribute to it by conserving water and making it perennial. It is important for these systems to continue to exist so that the water availability throughout the year is ensured. The project aims to enhance the kulaagar way of farming to its greater potential and in doing so make it resilient in nature. It also aims to strenghthen the parameters that cater to the Kulaagar farms directly/indirectly.
