Darjeeling has an individual relationship between nature and built form, created by the topography, climate, and cultural heritage of the region. As one walks around the town, it is observed that every little space, whether it's a house, a retail store, or a restaurant, has used greens (potted plants, trees) to make the space feel welcoming and pleasing to visitors. The concept of the resort was to interpret Darjeeling in the site. Hence the blocks are stacked in a way that represents the construction of Darjeeling. The exterior is kept very neutral which makes the terrain and the nature of the site stand out in the entire space. Whereas the interiors of each space have been inspired by the different flora in Darjeeling. Which will represent the different colors in Darjeeling.
