Engravings- A Textile Design Studio

Located in the Colonnade building in Ahmedabad, Engravings is a textile design studio that studies and analyzes the Block Printing patterns of Gujarat, predominantly Ajarakh. The tangible aspects of Rigidity and Flexibility associated with Block printing are reflected here in the space planning and the material selection of this office. The concept here tries to achieve the feel and tangibility of Rigidity and Flexibility which is moreover achieved by the choice of the materials and also reflects the colour palette associated with Block Printing. Portfolio
