Accent - A Wooden Seating

The utmost priority of this studio was to develop a keen understanding of wood and the skills to work with it. The project was to design a seating element for three people in a semi open context. 'Accent' is two meter spanning bench which aims to integrate a functional structure with a dynamic form and complementing wooden joineries. A full scale prototype and set of drawings were fleshed out as the final outcome.
