Boosting The Local Economy Of Rajkot

Rajkot, a city centrally located in the Saurashtra region of Gujarat, is home to many migrants from the region. This study aims to suggest certain interventions that shall help boost Rajkot's local economy. The focus is on the unstructured economic sector, which includes the gig economic sector, food courts and local markets. Multiple factors have been considered, such as public toilet locations, Wi-Fi locations, distance from parking plots, service area coverage of roads, ward-wise population, land use, existing food joints, etc. to suggest new locations for Rest Points for the gig economic sector, Food Courts and Local Markets.
