In the final project a device is designed to provide accurate and reliable data on the concrete’s strength development by measuring its internal temperature over time. The sensor is embedded in the concrete during the casting process and remains in place until the concrete reaches maturity. With the device, one can monitor the concrete’s temperature and strength development remotely, without the need for time-consuming and costly field tests.  By tracking the maturity index, one can optimize your construction schedule, ensure the concrete reaches the desired strength before applying loads, and prevent potential structural failures. The device is easy to use, affordable, and ideal for various construction projects, including large-scale infrastructure and building projects.
