The goal of the comprehensive study of sports complexes around the world was to
understand the varying building and structural systems each of these projects has with
respect to its usage and context. These translated as tessellations to give a deeper insight into varying structural systems and ultimately resolve a design problem.
The intervention is intended to create private yet open realms of space for players and spectators alike. The 35m roof span explores principles of tensegrity and gives an ecstatic space to house multiple sports facilities.
