Dwelling as a typology today has a different narrative of bedroom-hall-and-kitchen. This project questions such derivatives by studying a typology that emerged as a need for habitable and functional living in this single-high-rise era. The project covers an intensive understanding of Mumbai Chawls with respect to their form, elements, function, and life. The narrative also questions Housing as a peaceful entity under a chaotic milieu. Hence, the project represents chawl as a typology amidst a transit site.
