Selective Surgery of Spontaneous Settlements

The project aims to construct large-scale housing in Gulbai Tekra, located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, while preserving the unique character and lifestyle of the community. To achieve this, the project is drawing inspiration from Patrick Geddes' "Selective Surgery" approach, which involves careful and selective urban planning to enhance the quality of life for residents.
