Re-interpretation of the City Museum Ahmedabad is renowned to be the first world heritage city. Its history, culture, architecture, trade and commerce, and association with the freedom movement make it to be called a World Heritage City. The multicultural architectural style found in many historic monuments, the settlements in old city-Pols, communities living together, and the urban settlements interweaved with the ancient settlements can be called the ‘living heritage’ of the city.
