Nature Orientation Centre

The brief starts at the site of Serenity Library and the botanical garden in Ahmedabad. The site has little pockets of places that surrender one to nature. These places were the source of inspiration for us individually and were transformed into sketches. The introduction to the program was to design a nature orientation center that included a gallery, cafe, library, amphitheater and campsite. The project starts with one taking the existing pathway and leading into the central courtyard. This courtyard then disperses into individual spaces. The edges wrapping around the project allow different experiential qualities.
