Wrapped: The Newspaper Agency

The project is a workspace for a newspaper agency located in Vastrapur. The design draws inspiration from the idea of a planar element acting as a bridge joining all different elements of the design. The final design is an amalgamation of architectural expressions based on the objects analysed and research on workspaces’ history. The idea of the screen is intertwined with creating various instances of pause and interactive working in the workspace designed. The screen thus morphs itself into parapets, overhangs and fenestration frames to suit the expression of the space while allowing diffused light to enter the spaces it wraps.
