Cycling is a popular activity, practiced by a wide range of people, in a vast variety of situations. College students find it as an economical transport option, but struggle with the storage aspect of cycles, while living in small accommodations. Quite often, the distances are such that cycling alone cannot be the mode of transport and might need aid from other public transport systems. The usual cycles pose difficulties in such situations and hence students end up choosing other modes of transport over cycling. This project aims at solving this aspect of cycling through some sort of design intervention. For a more detailed understanding of the project, please refer to this booklet, titled "Unhinge : A Peek into the Process". Initial exercises done as part of this studio are attached within the additional work.
