Mandai - A Market Place in Mandu

Situated in Mandu, Mandai is a space for the vendors of Mandu while also a place where people get various reasons to hang out. The aim of the project was to create a journey for people such that The transition from outside market to the inside happens through a portal frame structure which expresses the fluidity of interior and exterior spaces while also an experience like a street market, leading to a space of a complete masonry structure, where one is surrounded by shops and shops in and out.
