A Building Exhibit and Exhibition Space

Translocating Peter Zumthor’s unbuilt project, the 360° Ching Gallery, from New York to Ahmedabad and designing in response to a different climatic, geographical and social context, resulted in a programme where the structure itself would stand as a testament to the building power and architectural prowess of a rising city. Exploring the design in the lens of materiality, structure, lighting and site context, all through the eyes of Peter Zumthor gave way to the building detailed below, creating an experience through space and time.
