Enhancing Public Transport of Surat for 2043

The studio aimed to gain an understanding of the process involved in developing a strategic transportation plan for Surat City 2043. This portfolio encompasses the outcome of all the processes undertaken in the studio, along with recommendations. To project potential growth scenarios, an analysis of the existing situation in various sectors such as demographics, economic land use, and roads was conducted in the city. The study resulted in the identification of detailed issues and vision-led concepts, which were used to formulate the strategic transportation plan. Our outcomes also included aspects such as project phasing and funding. Consequently, a plan was developed to improve the Public Transportation system, aimed at reducing waiting time and enhancing system efficiency.
