The road network of any city is the most important aspect. The road network proposed will help Surat as a city to grow holistically. The network tries to achieve a compact, inclusive, and overall development of the city. The network tries to promote the use of NMT and PT. It also opens up new areas so that the city can grow and still maintain its compact nature, The proposal also looks into the upgradation of the existing network so as to reduce congestion and reduce trip time.
