Travel Demand Analysis for Surat

This studio aims to provide an understanding of the Strategic Urban Transportation Plan for the city of Surat and its Preparation Process. First, a baseline assessment of different transport sub-systems of the city was done and then issues were identified. Based on a long-term vision and objectives, two alternative scenarios were developed with different strategies. Scenario evaluation was undertaken to propose a possible set of transport proposals with two different growth concepts.
