Urban Freight Management II STP Surat-2043

The aim of this project is to provide solutions for improving freight movement in Surat in order to support future expansion of the economic base. Site surveys and current primary data were used to pinpoint the major issues. It also depicts the externalities and impacts of urban freight movement. For effective and efficient freight management in the study area, strategies and policy-level recommendations are suggested.It also depicts the institutional framework for the Strategic Transport plan of Surat
