The urban village is a residential proposal situated in the outskirts of the Ahmedabad city. The central sensory garden have a deeper meaning to garden apart from using it only for aesthetic and beauty.The scheme consist of both mid-rise and low rise typology. The central garden divides these typology and integrates them in the central axis with the common amenities. THE CLUSTER: At the cluster level the series of inter-connected open spaces enhances the in-formalities of the village. The efficient road networks and the diverse amenities at the cluster level ensures the well-functioning of the proposal. The central common space at the cluster level consists of a combination of both soft and hard-scape to serve different user groups according to their needs. THE UNIT: The apartment units have the services at the rare end to free the front facade from the services. The low-rises typology is design around a private courtyard an explore different possibilities of spaces around these courtyards.
