The project expresses this space in a way that the behaviour of this space is not similar to a typical Games Room. As this intrevention being part of a students recreational centre, the main aim of the project is to develop the space in such a way that the students percieve this not as a space only for gaming but also a space for gathering and interaction. To achieve this goal, the intervention to the existing structure was kept to a minimum so that the students who are familiar with the layout, can experience the same space in a whole different way. The roof above the existing open terrace is the main intervention done and is imagined as an evolution from the existing pitched roof. The proposed roof now gives a language to the entire space and the the freedom to the form of the roof does not affect the layout what is under thus giving a playfull nature to the Games room.
